St John’s Soup Kitchen costs approximately £1,500 a week to run. There are a number of ways that you can support the work of the Soup Kitchen and we would be grateful for any help you can give us in supporting our community.
Justgiving

Our Justgiving page allows you to donate financially towards all aspects of our soup kitchen work, such as food and hygiene essentials for food bank parcels, ingredients for cooking, packaging for serving hot meals, cleaning, pest control, rent and utility bills.
Donating Food
We accept donations of all non-perishable goods (you can find a list of the things we often need in the FAQs of the Get Help page). Please only bring donations to the church building when volunteers are there to receive them. Please don’t leave donations outside our doors as they might not be taken inside straight away.
Sundays 10.30am – 2pm
Donating Books
St John’s has a free little library, for guests to take or borrow from. We will gladly accept books for all ages, both fiction and non fiction.
